Firaxis Games will present the first gameplay trailer for Sid Meier's Civilization VII during the Opening Night Live ceremony, which will kick off the Gamescom 2024 exhibition.

Following the Opening Night Live, Firaxis will hold a 20-minute presentation called the Civilization VII Gameplay Showcase. During this event, the developers will share details about the next installment of their 4X strategy game and show more gameplay footage.

Civilization VII will have a dedicated booth at Gamescom 2024. Firaxis announced that after journalists have had the chance to familiarize themselves with the game, they will share their impressions with the players.

The release of Sid Meier's Civilization VII is scheduled for 2025. The developers have not yet specified an exact date. According to Firaxis staff, players can expect a new revolutionary chapter.
