Remedy is getting ready to test its upcoming co-op shooter FBC: Firebreak, set in the same universe as Control. From May 15 to 19, the game will go through a closed technical test. If you want in, you can already sign up on the official website — but keep in mind, spots are limited.
This test will mainly focus on balancing the gameplay and making sure the matchmaking system works well. Good news for friends on different platforms: the test will include full crossplay. So whether you're on PC, PlayStation 5, or Xbox Series, you'll be able to team up or face off together.
FBC: Firebreak is set to launch on June 17 and will be available on PC and consoles. Even better, it’ll be part of Xbox Game Pass right from day one. The game costs $40 if you’re not using the subscription. It’s a fresh move for Remedy, shifting from single-player mystery into fast-paced, team-based action. With its connection to the weird and powerful world of Control, fans are curious to see how this new spin fits into the bigger universe.
