CD Projekt Red made a surprising and great announcement, which many Apple fans will love. In early 2025, Cyberpunk 2077 will be coming to Mac computers! According to the announcement, the game will leverage Apple's advanced technology, enabling several high-end graphics features previously available only on powerful PCs.

These include frame generation, path tracing, and spatial audio — all intended to deliver immersive gameplay. More detailed information on the upcoming release will be shared some time later, but, considering the planned release date, we won't have to wait long.

Those who don't own the game will be able to acquire it from the Mac App Store. Those who own the game on Steam, GOG, or EGS will receive the Mac version at no extra cost. While the Mac version is almost five years late, it is still the great news for Apple users, because there are not that many AAA-games for this platform. The free version might be a great reason for some people to come back to Night City.

The Ultimate Edition of Cyberpunk 2077 is also currently available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
