Cyberpunk: Edgerunners animated series is considered one of the best animes of the 2022 while also being called one of the greatest game adaptations (now, the Fallout TV series is in great contention and a heavy favorite for its title). However, to many fans these ten episodes were not enough, and although the story seems pretty much ended, the hunger for afterword is still there.

Publisher R. Talsorian Games has announced it will release the tabletop role-playing game called Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Mission Kit. It will have an epilogue to the anime produced by studio TRIGGER.

The edition will feature concise rules for the Cyberpunk RED role-playing system, along with the mission "The Jacket". From its description we can see that its goal will be to retrieve an iconic gear from a certain character. Most likely, we're talking about David Martinez's jacket.

 It's known that the game will have seven pre-made characters, and we're promised to see some familiar faces.

According to publisher's website, the full contents will have the Cyberpunk RED rules summary, the complete "The Jacket" mission, a Night City reference sheet, seven characters, new lore and biographies for David, Lucy, Rebecca, and other characters from the anime, thematic dices (2*d10 and 4*d6), a map, and special tokens for gameplay. The game will cost $35, and will launch mid-June.

During the week of April 29 to May 4, Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition took the top spot in the British retail chart. Interest in the full edition of the role-playing action game from CD Projekt RED was likely driven by sales in stores, but that proves that franchise can attract people.
