Sometimes big and unexpected surprises may happen. A Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition page has been discovered in the Steam database. According to information added on February 11, the game will take up 36 GB of storage, support seven languages, and be compatible with Steam Deck.

Aspyr Media is the one company working on this project. Two years ago, it acquired Beamdog, the studio behind the remasters of some of the most iconic RPG, including the first two Baldur's Gate titles. While this is without a doubt great news, for now, we should take it with a pinch of salt, because there were no announcements, and the game’s page is not publicly available on Steam.
The original Neverwinter Nights 2, developed by Obsidian Entertainment, was released in 2006. It is a classic RPG based on the Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 ruleset, set in the Forgotten Realms universe. The story follows the protagonist and their allies as they investigate a series of mysterious events linked to an ancient evil known as the King of Shadows.
