Yesterday, Valve released a winter-themed update for Deadlock. In addition to the Christmas decorations in some of the game’s locations, Valve introduced hidden quests, which reward players with free hero skins upon completion.

The Deadlock community managed to decipher almost all the quests required for the rewards within the first 24 hours.

Here’s the list of confirmed hidden quests in Deadlock:

  • Abrams: 5 melee kills
  • Bebop: Achieve 100 Bomb Stacks
  • Dynamo: Singularity should affect 3 people
  • Infernus: One ultimate, three enemies should be affected
  • Ivy: Bomb 2 enemies with ultimate
  • Lady Geist: Swap HP with a low health target
  • McGinnis: Destroy Patron
  • Mo and Krill: Get 700 bonus HP with the help of Combo
  • Seven: Thunderbolt kill during ultimate
  • Shiv: In ultimate do a triple kill
  • Viscous: Goo-ball 3 enemy heroes in 1 ultimate
  • Warden: Kill 3 enemies with Binding Word
  • Wraith: Hit 6 cards in 10 seconds
  • Yamato: Triple kill with an ultimate
  • Haze: 7 Kill Streak
  • Mirage: Activate 12 stacks of Djinn's Mark and kill an opponent
  • Lash: Ultimate should affect five enemies
  • Grey Talon: Single Charged Shot must deal more than a 1000 damage
  • Pocket: Hit multiple enemies with Affliction
  • Vindicta: Get double kill while in flight

So far, Kelvin and Paradox remain unsolved. Given the speed and intelligence of the community, it’s likely that these two quests will be figured out quickly as well.

We can't say whether the skins will remain with players after the winter event ends, but the visual variety in these few weeks will undoubtedly bring a lot of joy to the players.
