Love speeding and adore cool cars? Then here's good news for you because Electronic Arts has officially introduced a "Formula 1" racing simulator called F1 24.
Pre-orders for the race are already open, but the company plans to share more details only in April, so there's not much longer to wait. The release date is known — May 31, 2024, for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
The publisher also released a promotional trailer ahead of the 2024 Formula 1 season, giving players a chance to take a first look at the upcoming racing game.
The new installment of F1 will feature an overhauled career mode and altered gameplay. The developers have added the EA SPORTS Dynamic Handling system, which makes controlling the car more realistic.
The updated physics will require drivers to carefully manage hybrid vehicles, monitoring all vital parameters. At the planning stage, it's now possible to choose a dynamic strategy for fuel or tire consumption to gain an advantage over more reckless opponents at the end of the race. Engine characteristics can be controlled directly from the steering wheel display.
The game is available for pre-order in two editions: standard and champion, with additional bonuses in the form of pilots and subscriptions for extra content. The price of the standard edition is $70.
