In its latest announcement, Bethesda revealed the details of Fallout 76 Season 20, titled "Glow of the Ghoul." This update introduces an exciting new mechanic allowing players to embrace the role of a ghoul, complete with distinct advantages and challenges. Upon transforming, players will enjoy total immunity to radiation, which will actually serve as a healing factor rather than a hazard. Conversely, some in-game factions may turn against ghouls, altering player interactions significantly.

Accessible from level 50 onward, the ghoul transformation eliminates basic survival needs like hunger and thirst but introduces a new mechanic: managing feral progression and radiation accumulation. Higher radiation levels unlock special perks, adding strategic depth to gameplay. Additionally, players can revamp their C.A.M.P. setups using thematic radioactive aesthetics. Those wishing to revert to human form can do so at any time, ensuring flexibility in gameplay style.

Set to debut on March 18, the "Glow of the Ghoul" update promises to redefine how players engage with the wasteland in Fallout 76 .
