Two ambitious mods in the Fallout universe walk different paths. Fallout: London has a huge update, while Vault 13, unfortunately, closes its doors.

For Fallout: London — a popular mod for Fallout 4 — a long-awaited patch 1.02 has been released, addressing over 300 significant fixes. Notably, the update optimizes gameplay, speeds up loading times, and reduces the likelihood of crashes. Modders have fixed over 200 objects and updated 2D assets. A large number of new music tracks have been added, sound bugs have been fixed, and the pet Churchill has received a new outfit.

Fallout: London, released in July of this year, has won over fans. Recently, the developers from Team Folon announced that the number of downloads of the mod has nearly reached 1 million.

More detailed information about all the changes was shared in a 10-minute video.

Meanwhile, the fate of another mod was less fortunate. The team behind Fallout Vault 13 (a remake of the first Fallout in Fallout 4) announced that they have decided to halt production. They apologized to players who would be disappointed by this news.

The decision was made due to several factors, including burnout, difficulties in finding people to develop the project, and personal life issues. Bethesda had no influence on this decision.

The creators want their work to see the light of day, so they plan to publish a build with all their progress on Nexus Mods, hoping that someone will pick up the project.
