Remedy Entertainment might not be a powerhouse in the gaming industry, but its projects have a very loyal following. Today, developers dropped big news during a special livestream: FBC: Firebreak got its exact release date. It will be launched on June 17, and all three popular platforms (PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series) are supported. Even better news? From the very first day of the launch, it will also be availale on Xbox Game Pass and PS Plus.
Firebreak brings players into the twisted world of the Federal Bureau of Control, but this time with a multiplayer twist. Instead of Jesse Faden’s solo adventures, teams of agents will face off against supernatural threats together.
The standard edition of the game will cost $40, a welcome surprise in an era of $70 titles. A $50 Deluxe Edition is also coming, which includes the Firestarter Pack—a bundle of exclusive armor and weapon skins, voice lines, and a custom spray. Remedy stressed that these cosmetics won’t affect gameplay.
Firebreak is shaping up to be one of this summer’s standout shooters, especially with Game Pass and PS Plus support out of the gate.
