Blizzard is planning to make Season 4 of Diablo 4 revolutionary by launching an open client test from April 12th to April 26th.
👏 Feedback: In this way, the developers plan to gather feedback from players. They want to hear opinions about new features and changes that will be added to the game. The PTR will be available to all interested parties. However, there's a catch — it's open to all interested PC players with a Battle.net account.
Blizzard hopes that the open test will help avoid the scandalous issues that arose in the third season when players encountered a multitude of bugs: from progression blocks to the disabling of character skills in Hardcore mode.
Blizzard promises that Season 4 will bring many innovations:
- The most interesting feature is a global overhaul of the loot system. Items will become more valuable, to engage players more deeply.
- There might be something akin to a crafting system, to allow for personal item enhancements.
- The developers want to update the necromancer minions, making them stronger and more varied in design.
- A new weekly dungeon, The Gauntlet, will be added.
Diablo 4 was released in the summer of 2023. The plot continues the story of Part 3. Players fight demons, explore the world, and collect loot. The game features a seasonal mode. Participation is required to receive unique rewards. The first and second seasons received positive feedback from players and critics. The third was unsuccessful, with players encountering a host of bugs.
