The founder of Warhorse Studios, Daniel Vávra, shared details about the script length for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. According to the Czech, the developing team has written 2.2 million words of text. It is a ridiculously huge number that has the chances to become the biggest game script in history. The total volume equates to roughly 11 000 pages or 25 average-sized novels.

For comparison, in the summer of 2023, Larian Studios announced that the script for the release version of Baldur's Gate 3 would contain around two million words. The upcoming RPG set in 15th-century Bohemia will almost quadruple the word count of Leo Tolstoy's War and Peace (587.3 thousand words) and surpass the entire A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R. R. Martin (1.73 million words).

If we compare the difference between the original game and sequel, the difference is almost three times: the original game that saw the light in 2018 contained 800,000 words.

The sequel to the medieval RPG is set to release on February 11, 2025.
