The release of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is just around the corner, and the game is generating both positive and negative buzz. The good news is that the negativity doesn’t seem to escalate beyond mere words. According to game director Daniel Vávra, the volume of pre-orders for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II has not declined despite discussions surrounding the game's content. Vávra made this statement while addressing a YouTube video claiming "mass pre-order refunds".

At the same time, Warhorse Studios shared plans for post-release content for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. A roadmap with details about future updates has been published on the game’s social media channels.

In spring 2025, the game will receive several updates, which will be free for all players. These updates will include a hardcore mode, a feature to change appearance elements via a barber, and horseback racing. Additionally, the sequel will get three DLCs, which will be included in a season pass—one for each season until the end of the year.
