Halloween is a great time to announce something scary, for example, the release date of an iconic Ghostface to the Mortal Kombat 1.

The character from the Scream will join the game on November 19. This is the date when premium editions holders will have an early access. The full release will happen one week later, on November 26  Ghostface will be the first guest character of the year 2 batch. 

This small teaser focuses on fatalities. It seems really fitting that the victim is Johnny Cage, the movie star, according to the Mortal Kombat role. However, we've yet to see the gameplay. It is interesting, considering that we've had several superheroes with great vertical impact. Ghostface, however, looks like a traditional fighter, and while he has an iconic knife as a weapon, we've yet to uncover more moves. Unfortunately, he may look like a fun character, but not competitively viable. 

We're likely to see new trailer in the upcoming weeks, as it is not typical for Mortal Kombat team to leave us with one small teaser.
