Key developers from 4A Games have founded a new studio called Reburn and unveiled their debut game, La Quimera:
The studio has not strayed far from its familiar genre: it is once again a first-person shooter, but this time set in a science-fiction backdrop.
The game is set in the near future of high-tech Latin America. Players will take on the role of a soldier from a Private Military Company, donning an exoskeleton to face off against a local organization in dynamic battles set against the backdrop of jungles and a bustling metropolis.
The developers promise a rich story and an immersive gameplay experience that can be enjoyed not only solo but also in co-op mode for up to three players.
It is also noted that the script and setting are handled by Nicolas Winding Refn (known for Drive and The Neon Demon) and E.J.A. Warren.
La Quimera will be released on PC (Steam), but there is no approximate release date yet.
