It looks like it is impossible to have a presentation without leaks of its content. Developer_Direct is two days away, but the main intrigue seems to be spoiled, as the possible release date for the new chapter in the fan beloved series, DOOM: The Dark Ages, was accidentally revealed by the major French site Gamekult. They prematurely published an article announcing the release date of May 15. Although the article was quickly taken down, it was noticed in the site's RSS feed.

Previously, insider NateTheHate had also reported that DOOM: The Dark Ages would launch this May, meaning two separate sources have now pointed to a roughly the same release window.

Microsoft will likely unveil DOOM: The Dark Ages this Thursday, during its presentation titled Developer_Direct. Developers prepared a prequel to the modern DOOM dilogy. Despite being medieval-themed, the spirit of the project remains the same: brutal destruction of all the Hell forces.
