When talking about the biggest surprises of last year, Space Marine 2 ranks high among the most pleasant ones. Its success did not go unnoticed, as Focus Entertainment unexpectedly announced Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3! So far, players have only been shown a short teaser, confirming that the protagonist of the previous games, Demetrian Titus, will return in the threequel.

Saber Interactive, the studio behind the highly successful Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, is once again handling development. However, no details about the third installment are being revealed yet—those will come when the time is right. Meanwhile, Space Marine 2 will continue receiving active support, with new co-op missions, a horde mode, and more planned for this year.

Beyond Space Marine 3, Saber Interactive has several other projects in the works. Recently, it was revealed that the studio is developing an action game set in the fantasy world of Dungeons & Dragons, featuring a wave-based monster system similar to Space Marine 2. Another notable title in development is Turok: Origins, which will bring intense battles against dinosaurs.

It’s worth noting that Space Marine 2 was released just in September 2024—only six months ago. In that short time, the brutal action game has already attracted over five million players.
