The developers of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 answered the questions about upcoming improvements to the game. Some of the changes will be included in the next patch, which is promised to release in the second half of September.

  • Connection issues and save file loss will be addressed in the next patch, though some solutions will be introduced in later updates.
  • The "Veteran" difficulty will be made easier, as it's currently too difficult for solo players due to minimal assistance from bots.
  • AI bots will be improved to assist players more often and to be less passive. These improvements will begin with the upcoming patch.
  • PvE missions will be rebalanced so that enemies absorb less damage.
  • The developers do not plan to remove the single-class selection mechanic for PvE campaigns, but they are considering this option for private lobbies.
  • PvP multiplayer will also receive rebalancing and additional settings for creating custom lobbies.

Additionally, the developers outlined some content that players can expect, apart from the official roadmap:

  • New armor color schemes and stickers.
  • The option to change the color of Space Marine helmet lenses in the next major update.
  • The ability to change a Space Marine’s face in the future.
  • A new type of melee weapon is under discussion, though it would require new execution animations.

Focus Entertainment also released a reaction trailer with all the praises from the journalists and streamers.
