Intriguing news, which fans of The Elder Scrolls series would be glad to hear, has surfaced. It appears that Todd "Buy Skyrim" Howard has given the green light for an updated version of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. Whether it will be a remaster or a full-fledged remake remains unclear, but the details are certainly piquing curiosity.

Xfire has confirmed that the game is already in development. The project is codenamed "Altar" and will run on Unreal Engine 5. However, the new engine will only enhance the visual aspects, as the physics and gameplay will be based on the original game's ancient engine. It's remarkable how developers can squeeze every drop out of their old technology.
