Nintendo has announced that the Partner Showcase presentation, focusing on third-party releases rather than its own, will take place on February 21, meaning tomorrow. The event will primarily feature games from Nintendo's partners scheduled for release in the first half of 2024. Instead of a live stream, the presentation will be released on the YouTube platform and will last 25 minutes.
Nintendo's announcement followed a recent statement by Xbox about multi-platform games, in which Microsoft confirmed that four games will be released on new platforms.
Phil Spencer did not announce which games are included in the list, stating that the privilege of revealing new partnerships lies with the developers. It is believed that several of these games will be released specifically for Nintendo.
It is reported that Hi-Fi Rush and Pentiment will be the first two games to be released on the Nintendo Switch, while Sea of Thieves and Grounded are also expected to debut on new platforms. However, it is unclear whether these games will be able to run on the Switch without a downgrade in graphics.
