The dark and surreal world of Trench Tales is opening its gates soon. Crytivo and Talking Drums have shared a brand-new trailer revealing that their eerie third-person action shooter will hit Steam Early Access on May 6, 2025.

Set in a twisted version of post-WWI Europe, Trench Tales puts players in the boots of a solitary soldier mysteriously summoned into a dimension locked in endless warfare. To survive and find a way home, players must piece together the hidden truths of their summoning and confront the forces driving the conflict.

Combat is central to the experience, with a range of firearms from sidearms to heavy weaponry. Each weapon can be upgraded or customized with parts like scopes, suppressors, barrels, and stocks — offering personalized loadouts for every kind of battle.

The game features dynamic and destructible environments, shifting combat arenas from narrow trenches to eerie castles and haunted swamps. With deep weapon modding and a story full of mysticism and war, Trench Tales promises a haunting yet action-packed journey through a war that never ends.
