Tom Clancy's The Division 2 has officially entered its third season of year six, aptly titled Burden of Truth This season invites agents to delve deeper into the story, hunting for Kelso throughout Washington, D.C., using her cryptic hints. Along the way, they'll learn more about Lau's recruitment process and the enigmatic "Cassandra" mission.

One of the standout features is the introduction of the Rogue Momentum system, which amplifies combat dynamics by encouraging offensive strategies. By defeating enemies and completing combat tasks, players build momentum. Standard kills add a modest boost, but critical hits, skill combos, multi-kills, and taking out elite adversaries accelerate the meter's growth. As momentum accumulates, players enjoy enhanced abilities, such as faster movement, quicker reload times, boosted damage, and increased firing speed. At peak levels, the Overcharge feature kicks in, drastically cutting down ability cooldowns.

In addition to revamped combat mechanics, the season introduces fresh weaponry and gear. Owners of the Warlords of New York DLC and Year 1 Pass receive an expanded inventory with 50 bonus slots.

Notable additions include the exotic SMG Oxpecker and the tactical Exodus gloves. Two new brands, Refactor and Shiny Monkey bring innovative gear options, while named weapons like the Rusty Classic RPK-74 and Goalie FAL offer distinct talents that allow players to refine their builds. Available on all platforms, Ubisoft eagerly awaits player feedback to refine future updates.
