This sounds like a fever dream, but it’s real—Cristiano Ronaldo is gonna be a playable character in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. Yeah, one of the football GOATs is literally throwing hands in a fighting game now. Wild, right? It’s one of the weirdest crossovers ever, and just when you think it can’t get more random, they also revealed that DJ Salvatore Ganacci is in the game too. SNK is on something and we’re all here for it. But what does the Portuguese football legend think of it? Now we know the answer.
Ronaldo did a short interview with SNK where he talked about how hyped he is to be part of a fighting game for the first time. He called it a “big game” and said he’s proud to be included. Honestly, he seemed pretty into it. Considering his in-game moves actually pull from his football skills, this was also a pleasant bonus for the Portuguese. He said the special attacks look strong, “like [him].”
No idea how this is gonna play out, but Ronaldo squaring up with Terry Bogard might be the most chaotic energy we’ve seen in a fighting game in a while.
