The long-rumored State of Play event has finally been announced — Sony will hold the presentation on the night of September 24-25, 2024.

Sony has not officially revealed what exactly will be shown during the presentation. It has only been confirmed that gamers can expect news about more than 20 PS5 and PS VR2 games from studios around the world. The broadcast is expected to last around 30 minutes.

While some fans might be really happy to join the upcoming stream, it seems like there won't be anything shocking or groundbreaking. It is speculated that this is where the company will officially confirm the remasters of Horizon: Zero Dawn and Days Gone, which insiders have previously mentioned. However, journalist Jeff Grubb, who among other things, correctly reported the date of this State of Play, noted that there likely won’t be any major announcements.

To learn if there are no big surprises indeed, watch the stream on YouTube and Twitch. Broadcast will be in both English and Japanese.
