Ubisoft keeps producing news that are concerning, to say the least. Amidst the ongoing investor drama and stock dropping through the floor, Cameron Lee has left his position of Rainbow Six VP. He is leaving the company entirely, according to journalist Tom Henderson, who cited an internal email sent to employees.

Lee had been serving in his position since April 2022. Before joining Ubisoft, he held senior roles in various gaming companies for more than twenty years. His rich bio includes works at EA, Bungie, and BioWare. He had worked on some of the big and beloved franchises like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, Call of Duty, and Dragon Age.

Lee was responsible for developing the long-term strategy for the Rainbow Six franchise. While the whole situation in the company is obviously not great, the reason for Lee's departure remains unknown, and we won't be speculating on that. It is worth noting, though, that there are currently no plans to immediately replace him in the position.
