MOBA game League of Legends continues to add content related to the acclaimed series “Arcane”. This time it's not about the usual skin, but about a playable heroine.

Mel was in the center of attention - Riot Games presented the gameplay and talked about skills. The heroine will be able to strengthen her autoattacks, as well as increase her movement speed and cover herself with a barrier that can reflect enemy projectiles back to the attackers.

Blazing Light (Passive)

  • Mel uses the ability and then launches three more projectiles on her subsequent autoattack. She has the capacity to amass a total of nine projectiles. 

  • Mel applies staggered stun charges to the opponent while using autoattacks and talents to do damage. She immediately executes an enemy if she strikes them with enough charges.

Radiant Volley (Q)

  • Mel releases several magic charges that explode at a chosen location, damaging enemies in the target area.

Soul Mirror (W)

  • Mel increases her movement speed and creates a barrier around herself that prevents her from taking damage and reflects enemy projectiles back at her attackers.

Sunburst (E)

  • Mel releases a sphere of light, dealing intermittent damage to the enemies inside. Fighters in the center of the sphere are immobilized and those on the edges are slowed.

Gilded Eclipse (R)

  • Mel hits all enemies with stun charges wherever they are, dealing additional damage for each charge.

  • The damage from the charges increases with each level of Golden Eclipse.
