This December, the Sony PlayStation series will celebrate its 30th anniversary. The first console is remembered not only for its impressive games (which we won’t list here, as tastes differ and the selection is vast), but also for its distinctive design, featuring a gray color scheme. It’s no surprise, then, that Sony regularly releases limited editions inspired by the PlayStation 1. Such a significant milestone like a major anniversary would be too tempting to pass up, and the tech giant hasn’t missed the opportunity.

Today, Sony announced a limited-edition collection of devices, including the PS5 Digital, PS5 Pro, PlayStation Portal, as well as DualSense and DualSense Edge controllers. All devices and accessories are designed in the style of the company's first console. Basically it means the grey colour with a multi-coloured logo.

You can pre-order these devices starting next Thursday, with sales starting on November 21. The prices for the devices and accessories in the collection have not yet been announced. Sony will release 12,300 units of the anniversary PS5 Pro consoles worldwide.
