Admittedly, playing as a character whose appearance never changes can get quite boring. It’s natural to want to add some diversity to the game, and this is the easiest and most enjoyable way to do so, as you can literally transform your character beyond recognition.

MH Wilds also offers this feature, and I’ll explain how to do it. I’ll cover not only how to change your character’s appearance but also that of your loyal companions—the cat and the Seikret.
How to Change Your Character’s Appearance

To do this, the player needs to enter their tent in the camp and select the corresponding option from the menu. I’ve indicated this in the screenshot below.

Unfortunately, you can only change the hairstyle, hair color, and makeup. You cannot adjust details, such as making lips larger or smaller or tweaking the nose. These options are only available at the start, so be careful when creating your character. Make sure you’re completely satisfied with everything.

Once you’re done, don’t rush to leave the tent, because the same menu includes an option to customize the appearance of your fluffy companion. Select "Palico."

Now, the player has the option to adjust the cat’s appearance, which is undoubtedly a plus.
If you’re looking for an option to customize the Seikret here, I must inform you that it’s not available in this menu.
For this, you need to travel to the village of the tribe and approach the girl you previously saved. Her name is Nona. She will offer to customize the appearance of your riding bird. To do this, select the corresponding option in the dialogue.

Once again, the customization window will appear. The choices will be relatively limited. Nevertheless, it’s still nice that the game offers such variety.
