One of the most popular topics in esports is the earnings of professional players. People are fascinated by the best of the best because the incomes of the top tier allow them to dream of a luxurious life. But how much do tier-2 players earn? STYKO answers this question.

The Slovak player shared some details about his income in a special YouTube video. Over the course of a year, STYKO earned €154,000. It's important to note that STYKO competed in tournaments for only eight months out of the year. Interestingly, he disclosed his salary while playing for APEKS — €11,200 per month. For a team ranked around top-10 of the global standings, this is a solid salary.

However, the distribution of prize money and team sticker revenues is not as significant. STYKO received 7.14% of all prize winnings (while at Monte, this figure was 8.33%). As for sticker revenue, STYKO earned 4.28% from team sticker profits and 100% from individual sticker sales. Interestingly, the revenue from team stickers far exceeded that of individual stickers. The reason is fairly straightforward — team stickers are often used for customizing skins in CS2, while player stickers don’t offer such appealing designs.

Some interesting figures: for working as talent at a single tournament, STYKO earned around €7,000. These were week-long events, making it decent pay for demanding work.

In conclusion, STYKO’s video provides a clear picture of the esports salary market when it comes to non-star players.
