Although it has long been known that Godzilla skin will be available on Fortnite on January 17, all of the information on the partnership with Monsterverse has recently leaked online.

Epic Games has already released an update with content that will open on January 17, so dataminers have revealed the details. In addition to the regular Godzilla from the battle pass, players will be able to get images of Mechagodzilla and Kong in a set from the store. It will also include unique jet packs and pickaxes customized for both skins.

The game will also launch a new boss event on January 17. One of the players in the map will be able to become an oversized Godzilla and use its abilities like atomic breathing.Players will have to team up to defeat Godzilla. Whoever deals the most damage to Godzilla in the entire fight will receive a medallion with a unique ability.

A set with Mechagodzilla and Kong will appear in the Fortnite store at the standard time and includes:

  • Kong: 1500 V-bucks

  • Mecha Godzilla: 1,800 V-bucks.

  • Two pickaxes for 800 V-bucks each.

  • One Emotion for 400 V-bucks.

  • Two wrappers for 500 V-bucks each.

  • Complete Set: 2800 V-bucks

Also Fortnite is visited by a wide variety of performers and artists. You might soon get the chance to meet vocaloid Hatsune Miku, it seems. Players have taken notice of the social media correspondence. While the Hatsune Miku account stated that Miku's backpack was missing and asked whether anyone had seen it, the Fortnite Festival account replied that they did indeed have the backpack. 

There are stylized pickaxe and a variant of the "Miku the Catgirl" skin in addition to the basic Vocaloid skin and a virtual Hatsune Miku concert.
