Ed Boon, the creator of the Mortal Kombat series, announced the release date of Conan the Barbarian in the fighting game Mortal Kombat 1.

The legendary warrior, Conan the Barbarian, created by Robert E. Howard in the 1930s and for over forty years strongly associated with the image of Arnold Schwarzenegger, will appear in the game on January 21, 2025.

His abilities and moves are showcased in a new short trailer. Conan is depicted as an imposing giant, whose attacks will deal massive damage, which is why we see him fighting against Shao Kahn.

The developers of Mortal Kombat 1 continue to work on guest characters for the second season, though it is uncertain whether we will see any more major announcements. According to rumors, the first story expansion, Khaos Reigns, failed in sales, and now the game's development plans may be significantly reduced.
