The release date for the realistic life simulator InZOI in early access has been moved to March 28, 2025, as announced to fans in the game’s Discord server.
While the project had not specified an exact release date, it was initially expected by the end of 2024. The scheduling change was shared by the game’s director, Hyunjun Kim .
He began by thanking fans for their support, especially at gamescom 2024. According to him, players created numerous unique character models using the character creator, which was incredibly inspiring. However, player feedback led the developers to realize they needed more time to refine their work.
Until the release, the developers will continue enhancing specific game elements that need special attention and will keep fans updated on their progress.
While developers with full confidence claim that InZOI is a game for decades and they still have a great window to take the throne of the genre from The Sims 4, this delay is not a good sign. Yet, we'll have to wait for more information.
