Unfrozen Studio, the team behind the upcoming turn-based strategy game HoMM: Olden Era, has presented a second development report for fans, revealing key improvements โ from visual upgrades to enhanced gameplay usability. The team focused on feedback related to the Temple design, the appearance of Angels, and the readability of the interface on the global map and in combat โ these aspects received the most significant updates.
Whatโs Changed:
- The town screen and adventure map have been completely redesigned โ they now look more detailed and convey the atmosphere of the universe more effectively.
- Angels have received a new visual appearance that better reflects the spirit of Enroth.
- Color profiles and accessibility settings have been added to improve unit visibility on the map and during battles. The video showcases how the new options address issues with color representation and contrast. Available modes include: Standard, Muted, High Contrast, Dark, and Vibrant. Players can also choose from three object highlight options: No Outlines, Outlines for All, or Key Elements Only.
Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era will enter early access in summer 2025. The game will be released exclusively on PC.
