Electronic Arts has confirmed the planned release window for the next Battlefield installment. According to the company’s financial report, the shooter is expected to launch before April 2026.
Journalist Tom Henderson speculated, based on EA’s previous release patterns, that the new Battlefield will likely arrive in October or November 2025. However, EA has not provided any more specific dates.
The project is being developed by four of EA’s internal studios, and they are looking forward to some big playtests. Previously, the developers announced a closed testing program that will allow participants to try out key elements of the game. Feedback from these beta testers will help refine the shooter before its official release.
This news also sheds light on the future of Need for Speed: Vince Zampella previously stated that fans shouldn’t expect a new NFS game anytime soon as this Battlefield project is top priority.
