The release of God of War Ragnarök for PC took place on Thursday, nearly two years after its launch on PlayStation consoles. The PC version was developed by Jetpack Interactive, the same studio responsible for porting the previous installment. Santa Monica Studio, the original developer, also provided support for the process.

The PC version of God of War Ragnarök includes several enhancements over the console version. These improvements include support for image scaling technologies, ultra-wide displays, and an uncapped frame rate.

God of War Ragnarök continues the story from God of War (2018). In the game, Kratos and Atreus embark on an epic journey through each of the Nine Realms to prevent Ragnarök, which signifies the end of the world.

The original release of God of War Ragnarök occurred on November 9, 2022, and it received an average score of 94 out of 100 on Metacritic. To play the PC version of God of War Ragnarök, players need to sign in to their PlayStation Network account. As a result, the game is not available in regions where PlayStation Network is not officially supported.
