Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is almost here — and now we finally know every character that’s gonna be in the launch roster.
At today’s Fatal Fury Evo Showcase, SNK dropped one last surprise: Hokutomaru is the final base roster fighter, rounding things out after those wild reveals like Cristiano Ronaldo and Salvatore Ganacci (yeah, that still sounds unreal).
Fans will remember Hokutomaru from Garou: Mark of the Wolves, where he was the ninja-in-training under Andy Bogard. Now he’s back, older, sharper, and ready to throw hands — and feet — this time ditching the wooden sword for a pure hand-to-hand style (though don’t worry, he’s still tossing those shurikens).
His new moveset looks sick. We’re talking classic elbow strikes, flashy ninja mixups, and some explosive tech that gives him strong rushdown and mid-range tools. Definitely looks like he’ll keep opponents guessing.
That makes a total of 17 characters in the base roster — yep, that includes Ronaldo and Ganacci. And if you pre-order, you’re also getting the Season Pass for free, which brings in some absolute legends like Ken and Chun-Li, plus Andy, Joe Higashi, and Mr. Big.
The new title in the legendary fighting game series drops April 24, so we won't have to wait long.
