Activision revealed the details of the 6th season in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Warzone 2, which kicks off on September 27. Gamers can expect several crossovers as well as a few new maps for online play.

The new season will be dedicated to Halloween. There will be an event called The Haunting, in which night versions of old maps will be added, 4 entirely new maps for Modern Warfare 2 (La Casa, Koro Village, King, and Fight), 3 weapons (TR-76 Geist, ISO 9mm, and Dual Kamas). And of course, there will be new operator skins:

• Spawn from the comic series of the same name;

• Alucard from the anime "Hellsing";

• Inarius and Lilith from Diablo 4;

• Skeletor from the animated series "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe";

• Ash Williams from the movie "Evil Dead II".

Also, 2 new reskins, El Asilo and Embassy, will be added to the game and thematic modes — Haunting Domination, Haunting Kill Confirmed/Grind, Haunting Drop Zone Drop Scares, and Haunting Infected.

The Halloween event The Haunting with night versions of Al Mazrah and Vondel starts on October 17.
