The author of the YouTube channel ElAnalistaDeBits published a ten-minute comparison of the trailer for the Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remake with footage from the original game.

The blogger detailed how Konami redesigned character models, cutscenes, and the environment. The enthusiast also noted that the developers slightly changed some gameplay mechanics.

The appearance of Naked Snake remains largely the same, but the Japanese studio made the character model more detailed, aligning it with modern standards. The main character's movements are smoother and more realistic compared to the classic version of the stealth action game. The remake will also feature hair physics, with the special agent's hair flowing as he walks.

Although the layout of the locations has not changed, they will be more technically detailed in the remake. Under certain conditions, dirt and leaves will stick to the character.

Today, Konami will conduct a more detailed demonstration of the gameplay for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. On their website, the developers stated that the game will feature an improved injury mechanic for the main character—wounds from melee and firearms will appear in real time. Some of these wounds will remain on Snake's body permanently.

The release date for the stealth action game is not yet set. The release will take place on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
