NVIDIA did not mention the gaming profile for Final Fantasy XVI in the update description. Users discovered it within the files and software settings in the control panel. The previous version of the driver did not include any reference to the game.

According to the list of software settings, the developers of Final Fantasy XVI also intend to release a demo version of the game for PC. Square Enix had previously mentioned these plans when discussing the PC version of the game.

Square Enix has not yet officially announced Final Fantasy XVI for PC. However, the appearance of the gaming profile in the NVIDIA driver suggests an imminent reveal and release. It is possible that the big announcement will be made at the Gamescom 2024.

Final Fantasy XVI was released on PS5 in June 2023. The action RPG received an average score of 87 out of 100 from professional reviewers and 8.1 out of 10 from users on Metacritic.
