God of War rocks! It is a beloved franchise, and the latest games were all met with warm welcome. Meanwhile, it soon turns 20, and there are quite interesting rumours. One of the most notable is the remaster of original games. Insider Jeff Grubb believes the announcement could happen as early as March.

It’s worth noting that the anniversary events will take place on March 15-23. It’s likely that within this time frame, a remaster of Kratos' Greek adventures could be announced.

Earlier, Tom Henderson reported that the next God of War would indeed return to Greek mythology, focusing on the youth of Kratos. If this is true, then we might soon receive a potential prequel, which could pave the way for remasters.

These rumors may be true, especially considering the Greek part of the series was released on older PS consoles, including PSP and PS Vita, and Sony has recently shown interest in remastering older games. So why not make several legendary titles relevant again?
