Embark Studios, the creators of the cooperative free-to-play shooter The Finals, have announced that the popular Team Deathmatch mode will become a permanent fixture starting with the next season. This change comes as part of Season 6, which kicks off on March 20 and will run for three months.

Initially introduced in the previous season, the 5v5 Team Deathmatch mode quickly gained positive feedback from players, leading to its permanent inclusion. To enhance the experience, developers have expanded the list of available arenas, adding iconic locations such as Seoul, Kyoto, Las Vegas, and SYS$HORIZON. These maps provide diverse environments for players to showcase their skills in intense firefights.

Designed for hardcore fans of The Finals, Team Deathmatch emphasizes precision shooting and strategic play. The mode retains the game’s signature destructible environment mechanic, which adds chaos and spectacle to every battle, ensuring no two matches feel the same.

Season 6 also brings a wealth of new content, including three additional weapons, new sponsors, cosmetic items, gameplay improvements, and other exciting features. With these updates, The Finals continues to evolve, offering players even more ways to engage with its fast-paced and dynamic gameplay.
