Tekken 7 has been around for almost 7 years, so it's time for a sequel. Tekken 8 will be released on January 26, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Bandai Namco has prepared several materials for Tekken 8: a gameplay trailer for the enchantress Zafina, an introductory sequence with all characters from the main roster of the eighth part, and a demonstration of the first DLC fighter.

Naturally, the base version of the game is not everything. The developers announced that 32 characters will be available at launch, with more to be added over time.

Fans of the series know that each part gets a unique introductory sequence, and the next game will continue this tradition. The events provide a superficial understanding of the conflict between Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima, as well as cameos with many other characters from the basic list.

Zafina is an astrologer and the protector of Azazel's tomb, as well as a vessel for his immortal spirit. However, even in such a form, Azazel is too strong and resists control more actively each day. As long as the spirit is locked in Zafina's body, she can use its power. The enchantress first appeared in Tekken 6.

And that's not all. The first expansion confirmed Eddy Gordo. The Capoeira master was first introduced in Tekken 3, and he will appear in Tekken 8 in the spring.

The next three characters will be added in the summer, autumn, and winter of 2024. Access to them will be granted by a special pass for the first year, included in the Deluxe and Ultimate editions.
