Nintendo has officially announced that the Nintendo Switch 2 will hit the market on June 5. The reveal took place during a special Nintendo Direct presentation, where the company detailed several of the console’s new features.
Image: youtube.comOne of the biggest innovations is the C button, now integrated into the right Joy-Con. This button activates GameChat, a built-in communication feature that allows players to voice chat, even while playing different games.

GameChat also enables screen-sharing, meaning players can broadcast their gameplay to friends in real time. However, to access this function, users will need an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription.
Another major addition is the Switch 2 Camera, which allows real-world images to be seamlessly integrated into co-op gameplay, opening up new interactive possibilities.
