This was stated in an official announcement from the studio itself (the developers of The Void, Knock-Knock, and the Pathologic series). Nikolay Dybovsky has decided to leave the team to dedicate more time to his personal projects and focus on his private life. All responsibilities previously held by the game designer have been redistributed among the studio's employees, and the handover process has already been completed. The studio's leadership remains in the hands of Petr Potapov and Airat Zakirov, who will continue working on the project Pathologic 3.

Several months ago, reports surfaced about a family scandal involving Dybovsky, as well as rumors that he had sold the studio and promptly left it.

Pathologic 3 is the highly anticipated installment of the cult classic game series, renowned for its dark atmosphere, intricate narrative, and philosophical themes. The game is set in a mysterious town ravaged by a deadly epidemic, where players must make difficult moral decisions that shape the fates of characters and the course of events.

The developers emphasize that the third part aims to be slightly more accessible and understandable for new players while preserving the deep philosophical undertones and complex mechanics that fans of the series cherish.

A free prologue for Pathologic 3 will be released on March 17, 2025.
