Remedy Entertainment is progressively adding more games to its lineup. But even before the announcement, the studio's new project is in danger. After the discovery of Sweet Baby Inc, an organization dedicated to “subpoena enforcement” in games, gamers have become acutely aware of progressive things. Games that have anything to do with SBI have begun to be “canceled”.
Recently, Remedy Entertainment has been in the spotlight. The thing is that gamers noticed on the website of one of the employees of Sweet Baby Inc a mention of cooperation with Remedy: “Writing for ‘an unannounced Remedy Game’, TBD”.
It turns out that Sweet Baby Inc has worked on the script or character development for a certain new Remedy game, known to many for Alan Wake, Max Payne and Control.
This game has not been announced yet, but the very fact of its connection with SBI has already angered some gamers and that's why they are issuing a “black mark” in absentia. Remedy Entertainment wants to see the industry grow.
The crew wants to become "the European counterpart of this renowned corporation," said Kyle Rowley, director of the Alan Wake 2 video game, and was inspired by Naughty Dog's work, especially the Uncharted series.
Rowley talked about how this impact affected the development of Quantum Break and later Alan Wake 2 in an interview with the Behind The Voice podcast. He stated, "We should strive to be the European equivalent of Naughty Dog."
