The series The Last of Us has become one of the prime examples of how video games should be adapted into other formats. Around the same time, we saw several excellent adaptations (including Arcane and Fallout), but unlike the animated series of League of Legends, the live-action story of Joel and Ellie has yet to come to an end.
Now, the creators of the series have released the trailer for the second season and announced its release date — April 2025. A 55-second video does not give us much information. However, it still brings the atmosphere and reminds us of all the horrors of the world around our protagonists.
The show will air on the Max platform, just like the first season. It is expected that the second season will consist of seven episodes, one of which will be particularly long in terms of runtime. It is also worth noting that The Last of Us Part II remastered will come to Steam on April 3, so it is a great time to bring new players.
