Sony released the first and quite lengthy trailer for the Until Dawn horror movie adaptation, offering a glimpse at several scenes and key characters. Most of the characters will be new, as the filmmakers have chosen not to fully follow the storyline of the original video game.

Screenwriter Gary Dauberman has stated that he is a big fan of the title. The creators aim to give audiences not just the authentic taste of the game and its thrilling experience but to expand the horror universe.

Director David F. Sandberg also mentioned that the film will deliver the same atmosphere. Additionally, the movie plans to incorporate the idea that Until Dawn characters faced various fates depending on how players behaved and which choices they made. However, the users in the comments say that while the movie might be a potentially good horror show, it does not give the Until Dawn vibes.

The Until Dawn movie will premiere on April 25, with filming having wrapped last fall. This means that the delays are less likely (we all remember that, for example, filming of the second season of Fallout was postponed due to wildfire in California).
