The new season in Overwatch 2 is starting next Tuesday, and Blizzard published an article describing the main features of it. New Frontiers bring new hero Juno and new game mode called Clash. These are not the only new things, and some of the items developers carefully placed in a trailer for the Season 12.

However, one of the biggest announcements of New Frontiers is that Overwatch 2 will become a part of Game Pass on September 17. Subscribers will receive different bonuses while their subscription is active. We don't know all the details as the developers will share them later. Also, during the first month Blizzard offers a one-time welcome bonus of six skins and 30 mythic prisms that can be used on buying different skins.

The idea of in-game bonuses for subscribers of different services is not new. For example, Twitch prime users were receiving capsules with big bonuses in League of Legends. Riot Games is also partnered with Game Pass, as, for example, all agents in Valorant are open for those who use this service from Microsoft. So, addition of Overwatch 2 is unsurprising. It would be interesting to look at the numbers in a couple of months. Of course, that can only happen if Xbox publishes them.
