MidJourney has announced the release of its V7 Alpha, marking the first major update since July 2024. A standout feature in V7 is personalization, allowing users to tailor the AI’s output to their preferences. To set up personalization, users are asked to evaluate 200 images, helping the neural network understand their tastes.

V7 is available in two modes: Turbo (more resource-intensive) and Relax. Additionally, a new tool called Draft Mode has been introduced for “quick idea development.” This mode supports voice input, enabling users to describe and edit images by speaking naturally. While Draft Mode offers faster image generation at half the cost, it comes with a slight reduction in quality compared to the base mode.
MidJourney is an AI platform known for generating high-quality images from text prompts. Its popularity stems from consistently delivering superior results compared to competitors, making it a favorite among creators.
