Evgenii "Gufis" Kondratev Imperial Female got eliminated in Round 3 of the PGL Cluj-Napoca Swiss Stage. They lost all six maps, and gave Complexity their first win of the year. They are joined by FlyQuest, who also lost all three of their matches (map total 2-6). On the opposite side, FaZe Clan and The MongolZ are the first two teams to clinch playoff spots.

Unfortunately, for the Imperial Female squad, this was very likely their swan song in the S-tier tournaments, at least in the near future. The main reason is that the male squad has overtaken them in the Valve rankings. While Imperial Female is currently on the 37th place, they simply won't have opportunities to play due to the rule of one team per club at each ranked tournament.
Despite having lost all of the maps at several big competitions, the Imperial Female team did a great job. First of all, their matches attracted lots of viewers. Secondly, they put up a decent fight and their matches were competitive. Let's hope their example will eventually lead to the breakthrough onto the tier-1 and tier-2 stages.
